9 Ways to Motivate Yourself When You Just Don't Feel Like It
|
by Skye Thomas
Achieving the really big goals and dreams always involves breaking it down into do-able little steps. Assuming that you¢â¬â¢ve picked a goal or dream that you really love working at, then most of the steps are a delight to take. No matter how much you love your dream and no matter how much you love your work, there are going to be tasks along the way that you really don¢â¬â¢t want to do. Those pieces of work that we hate doing can be the very ones that sabotage our success. How do you stay motivated during those parts of the journey?

Our Culture-A Hurdle In The Broad Establishment of Spirituality In The Workplace
|
by Dr. Joan F. Marques
"Interconnectedness" is what authors such as Ian Mitroff, Elizabeth Denton, and Margaret Wheatley, to name a few, refer to when they explain spirituality in the workplace. They advocate bringing in your entire "self" into work. Not just the professional or efficient part. And yes, it sounds very tempting to do so, doesn't it?
Just envision this for a moment: Being able to perform optimally because you love your job and the people you work with; being encouraged to bring in ideas because colleagues and supervisors admire your input and know that you are all on the same line when it comes to the wellbeing of the organization you work for, but also: being able to talk about things that bother you. Not having to hide your sadness or elation about something that happened at home, but to be encouraged to share it with your good-natured "family" at work. And to get well-meant advice when you ask for it, because everybody has the best of intentions: Spirituality at Work...

Believe That You Deserve To Be Wealthy
|
by Stuart Goldsmith
You are lost if you do not believe that having money is a good thing.
You need the self-confidence and focus to follow your dream and this will be fatally undercut if you have the wrong philosophy of life and money. No amount of effort on your part will overcome a faulty philosophy. If, deep down, you believe that wealth is a sin or that money is dirty, or wicked then the first step is for you to correct this error or give up all hopes of wealth for you and your family. What is a 'wrong' philosophy with regard to making money?
Anything which could be described as altruistic, socialist, collectivist, communist or any one of its thousand manifestations no matter what the label, no matter what the disguise, no matter what the smoke screen.

America is considered the land of the plenty. This is especially true when it comes to food. There is no need in this country to stand in line for a loaf of bread. Daily, we eat more than a small bowl of rice and glass of milk. In fact, I remember many a day as a child, if I didn't want to eat my dinner and I was reminded of the starving children in Africa. The thought of being without food is beyond the grasp of many Americans.
According to Jeffrey Bland, Ph.D., the author of the book Genetic Nutritioneering, the leading nutritional problem in the US today is that many of us eat too many "empty calorie foods". It is not that we do not eat enough food, but instead, we don't eat enough of the right kinds of foods.

It Is Time To Remember Who You Are
|
by Patricia Diana Cota-Robles
You are a Beloved Child of God who is on Earth during this unique moment to cocreate the wonders of Heaven on Earth. You are an empowered Instrument of God. This inner knowing is opening your heart and allowing your God Self to increase the amount of Divine Light flowing through your Earthly body.
The increased influx of Light flows into the physical plane and enters the core of purity in every electron of precious life energy. The Light then pushes to the surface anything that conflicts with Its frequencies of harmony, love and balance. Unfortunately, as the discordant frequencies of energy surface to be transmuted back into Light, they often create the illusion that things are getting worse.

Are You Being Reprogrammed?
|
by Wendy Kay
If you are leading a life where you are learning a lot of lessons, you will most likely experience preparation times. During these times, your Spirit Guides are preparing you for a new lesson or a new set of life circumstances. This is preparation for the future where the Guides are reprogramming your energy so that is contains an updated blueprint for your life path. Guides are constantly feeding you information and making small alterations to your energy to accommodate your day-to-day changes however, these are major changes that require more intense sessions.
If there is a big lesson or life change coming up for you, you will notice physical changes while your Guides work on your energy implanting the new patterns and connections. When they work on your energy, they are changing the way it was to the way it now needs to be. This can involve clearing energy blocks, creating energy blocks, fixing or changing energy breaks and programming the cells to do what needs to be done. This is a very complicated procedure and they often refer to it a surgery.

What do you want to create? A peaceful life, a successful life, a good life, a sculpture, a piece of art, a book? What is it that you would like to create? Whatever you want you can achieve it. All you have to do is follow your natural compass. Remove the rubbish that takes you off course and let the natural you come through. It is not the case of adding new behaviours to create what you want. No. It¢â¬â¢s a case of moving the obstacles out of the away and let the natural you come through.
One of the biggest obstacles of all to being creative in life, to reaching your potential: is conformity.
As Shakti Gawain says:
¢â¬We will discover the nature of our particular genius when we stop trying to conform to our own or other peoples model¢â¬â¢.

I heard a story about this bridge that is very, very long.
On this side, many people (in the thousands or even more!) are standing; they are thinking about crossing but, apparently, not many people make it.
It seems that the problem is that the bridge is so long that only the ones with the strongest vision can see a little light that it is said shines at the other end.
But the bridge is rather narrow and people tend to start walking carrying great loads of baggage because they are not sure what it is that they will need in the journey to the other side.

Echo was a flea-bitten gray horse, with brown speckles everywhere, and crystal clear hairs in her mane and tail. We met in October, 1976, when she was a broodmare on an Arabian farm in New York State. A beginner at riding doesn't usually start out with a novice horse, but I fell in love at first sight of her. Somehow, over the years, we learned how to have great times and not get in trouble. We enjoyed trail riding and had fun doing dressage, too. Echo loved to be ridden and to gallop across field. She was always as eager for my companionship as I was for hers.
October, 1998. After a summer of dry weather, heavy rain was predicted for the next several days. That afternoon, I discovered Echo panicked and galloping in her turnout.
