Every month and every week the spiritual energy on planet earth changes. This energy is the key message that people are learning about themselves and their relationships with others. Since we all live in a "big school" there is a plan that comes from our spiritual helpers (guardian angels).

Columns: Personal Excellence: The ''I'm Not A Genius'' Syndrome
|
by Dr. Jill Ammon-Wexler
Creativity is often viewed as a characteristic of a few
gifted geniuses. John Briggs, author of Fire In the
Crucible: The Alchemy of Creative Genius believes: "The way we talk about creativity often reinforces the
notion it is some kind of special gift."
But in truth, creativity goes far beyond the ability to
paint, write, create a new business, or invent a new
product. Stripped down to its bare essentials --
creativity is actually a fundamental survival skill.

"Men should take their knowledge from the Sun, the Moon and the Stars."

"Soulmates" is one of those ideas I hear people using with a wide variety of definitions. I certainly don't fully comprehend the term, but I have contemplated it for a few years from a variety of perspectives.
I believe that to understand the idea of soulmates you have to understand the idea of soul. Since I don't want to get into a really long treatise, I'll just say that our souls are eternal, our souls connect us with God and our soul is not the same as our personality or ego (though we certainly can bring the Light of our souls into our personalities!)

Origin of Certain Thoughts - Part 2 of 2
|
by Isaac Nwokogba
Continued from Origin of Certain Thoughts - Part 1
If you haven't experienced any near misses, you may have at least heard or read about them. When people describe their near misses, they say things such as "The bullet missed my heart by just a few inches," or "I was only a few feet away from the car that crashed into the crowd," or "Had I not turned around, I would have been killed." Are these misses luck, coincidence, or some power at work? I think you know the answer.
And how about the meeting you forgot to attend. As long as the meeting went well, you probably would not think much of it

NOVEMBER 2004: LIVE
What are you living for? Why did you come to planet earth to begin with?
Could it be that we came here to learn as much about ourselves as possible? When you put 100 percent of yourself into what you came to do, you will always be successful. If you only put 50 percent into it, you will gain only half of what you came here for.

The World of Meaning - The Circumstantial Revelations of the Soul
|
by William Meader
To live a meaningful life is to participate in the consciousness of the soul. When the soul is inwardly touched, a sense of purpose is slowly realized, and meaningful living then emerges in life. Meaning is therefore a state of consciousness. It represents an evolution away from perceiving outer events at face value. Instead, events are understood as symbols that reveal hidden significance. When a person begins to experience this, it indicates that s/he has stepped into the World of Meaning: the state of consciousness through which the soul?¢â?¬â?¢s wisdom is revealed.
Every human being will one day enter into the World of Meaning, either in this life or another. It is an inevitable step on the long journey of spiritual evolution leading to eventual enlightenment. However, to see this requires that we refine our understanding of evolution.

Columns: A Message From Quado: Exploring the Past
|
by Carrie Hart and Quado
A reader asks:
It seems as though the emphasis in positive thinking is to look forward. Does this mean that we need to let go of exploring the past, possibly our childhood wounds? Does exploring our life patterns and the cause of our life patterns help us to move forward or does it just get us stuck in the past? Probably the answer is both. I would love to hear what Quado has to say about the value of exploring, understanding our past as a means to let go and move forward with positive actions toward what we really want in life.
Quado responds:
The answer here is individual, for it depends upon the person how much value will be derived by exploring the past. It is a question of individuality, but also of balance.

My daughter asked, ?¢â?¬??Didn?¢â?¬â?¢t you get my email??¢â?¬? That?¢â?¬â?¢s when I realized that I hadn?¢â?¬â?¢t been receiving my main email account for over a week. This meant that for at least 7 days I didn?¢â?¬â?¢t notice that 3 emails that come every day had not arrived, that people who usually write to me weren?¢â?¬â?¢t, and that I wasn?¢â?¬â?¢t receiving notices of orders from the Internet.
It took 7 days before I realized that things that usually happened ?¢â?¬â?? weren?¢â?¬â?¢t. Once I became aware of the problem I knew what I had done to cause it. With an amazingly complete lack of awareness I had stopped an important flow of information.

We were all taught in school that our forefathers left England to escape religious dictatorships. Okay, there was a lot more to it then that, but it was a big enough deal that they made sure it got honorable mention in our rulebook. They clearly made the point that we were to have freedom of religion here in America. They also used the word ?¢â?¬??God?¢â?¬? in some of their formal paperwork and even on our money. I don?¢â?¬â?¢t want to argue politics here, but rather semantics. They didn?¢â?¬â?¢t say ?¢â?¬??freedom of Christianity,?¢â?¬? they said ?¢â?¬??freedom of religion.?¢â?¬? The boys who wrote up all of our formal paperwork were wordsmiths and they debated long and hard to find the perfect set of words to govern ourselves by.
