What A Difference A Perception Makes

Once I had a little yard that was filled with weeds. I couldn't find time in my day to weed the yard so it got worse and worse. One day without thinking I bent down as I walked to the car and pulled a weed. On the way back into the house I pulled a few more. Within a few weeks my yard was free of weeds. One weed at a time made a difference.
Our landlady uses a walker. However, she tends a beautiful, practical and constantly changing garden. She does it one step at a time - literally. She never complains that she moves so slowly or that she has to lean on her walker to bend down to work in the garden, she just does it.

Boldly Love Where Your Love Has Never Gone Before

"You don't know what love is." That's what Ginny said to Forest in the movie "Forest Gump". At the end of the movie when he told her, " I do know what love is Ginny," we all knew that he did.
"Love always shows up." That's what someone said to me years ago when I was questioning another's love for me. That person didn't show up for me, but Forest did for Ginny. He consistently loved without the question "what's in it for me." Instead he boldly loved, without guilt or need, because he knew himself and was clear about his intent and purpose.

Today I would like to talk about expectations. You should be aware that so many of your problems in your everyday life, so many of the issues you
grapple with, are the result of expectations. If you could but release your expectations and allow life to flow as it will, you could bring yourself to greater happiness.
When you are frustrated, angry or disappointed, this is normally the result of unfulfilled expectations. If, for example, you are annoyed because someone does not show up on time, your annoyance is clearly due to a missed expectation.

Dealing With Disappointment

Have you experienced any disappointments lately?
What a dumb question, huh? Life is full of disappointments. But, it�¢â�¬â�¢s not so much what happens to us, but how we handle it. When you receive dashed expectations, it will be at that moment when you decide how to react.
When things don�¢â�¬â�¢t prosper or succeed according to our plan, the first thing we feel is disappointment. This is normal. There is nothing wrong with feeling disappointed. But, we must know what to do with that feeling, or it will move into something more serious.

Devotion: One Mother's Perspective

As I gently wake in the morning to the sun's first subtle peek through my dark bamboo shades, I turn onto my left side and a smile quickly overtakes the corners of my mouth. My senses are filled with my precious child, peacefully slumbering, and perhaps dreaming of a day filled with new discoveries and adventures. Moments such as these offer me a sense of contentment that all is perfect in the moment.
If only I had known that my heart would be captured by this amazing being that I brought into the world only three short years ago.

�¢â�¬��I talked to a lady who does predictions. She said she had information for me about fortunes in the near future, but if I want to find out about it, I have to pay $$$. Why is it that people with the gift of foresight ask for payment? I know for myself, I do not ask for $$$ when I �¢â�¬��help�¢â�¬â�¢ the sick, because I believe and have witnessed, the spirit will look after their own,
and they will care for their workers.
�¢â�¬��I do realize that we, as humans, have our own paths to tread, and we must survive accordingly...but to request payment for spiritual guidance??? Perhaps Quado could shed some light on the subject.�¢â�¬��
