Enduring Hardships with God’s Love
|
by worldblessings
At this time of intense planetary change, many of us are being challenged and are finding ourselves enduring hardships of one kind or another. Whether it be a health challenge, financial concerns, loss of a loved one, or life difficulties that endure for a very long time without changing, all these hardships bring with them pain, suffering, sadness, anger, grief or even despair. When we don't know how to get through a situation that feels overwhelming, our heart cries out for help. We turn to prayer and our spiritual practices to find comfort and meaning, and yet sometimes it is so difficult to really feel ourselves held in God’s loving embrace.
Dearest ones, when we are suffering it can feel as though we are all alone in our pain. In fact, this is the nature of much of our suffering, because we are not yet able to feel God’s love with us and holding us in our lives.

Do You Suffer From Performance Anxiety?
|
Charlie Badenhop
When you're performing at a level that's disappointing, don't you wind up feeling you need to make an important change in your thinking that you don't know how to orchestrate? Recently I had a client with a fear of public speaking come to me for a phone coaching session. I relate this story to you with his permission.
"Jim's" job requires him to give talks at various venues for publicity purposes. As a marketing executive Jim was highly successful. As a public speaker he was (in his own words) "a failure."

Why Creating a Resolution Fuels Motivation
|
by Nishanth Reddy
By means of something different, everybody is motivated. For any kind of goal, that is the similar. Since their high school reunion is around the corner, someone may want to lose weight, while another may want to discard those extra pounds to get into the mood.
Some reasonable goals, incentives, or even the character of the person is typically, what motivates a person to do what he or she does. In order to get good grades, one person may be motivated, or strive, because they need a high GPA, while another person may be motivated to earn high marks since they will get money from a parent.

Do You Realize You Have A Learning Style
|
by Charlie Badenhop
Like most every human being, I'm guessing you learn some things well while struggling to learn other subjects. If so, join the club! This article will give you some insight into the concept of learning styles and finding enjoyment in your learning process.
When I first came to Japan I loved studying Aikido, but found learning Japanese to be boring and difficult. With Aikido, the teaching style used very much matches my learning style. I get to look and listen first, and then I perform what I have just learned, while receiving feedback on how to improve.

I found myself stretched out and grouchy. I felt scattered and pulled in a great many directions even though they were exciting directions. I was far from balanced. I knew I needed to change. I gave myself a reality check, realized I was being bombarded from all sides and that I felt out of control. I realized the solution was that I had to set some new boundaries.
Boundaries are not about keeping people out, they are about structuring your life in a manner that nourishes and fulfills you. The boundaries will be different for each of us because our needs are unique.

The Challenge of Manifesting at this Time
|
by Worldblessings
At this very special and momentous time in the Earth's history, many people are awakening spiritually and coming to realize the vast potentials and gifts of living a life in harmony with spirit. An evolutionary shift is happening, and as more people awaken, the momentum of spiritual growth for all of humanity accelerates as well.
One of the most challenging aspects of spiritual life comes when it comes time to live the spiritual realizations that we've had, in our day to day realities. As we are confronted with the daily tasks, choices, opportunities and challenges of life, many obstacles can appear, seemingly out of nowhere.

Back some time ago I saw a moving TV documentary. It told the story of a young man by the name of Bill, with severe physical handicaps. He was born without legs, feet, arms, or hands, and he had appendages on his shoulders that looked somewhat like small fins. Of course I immediately noticed how unusual Bill looked, but truly the most striking thing about him was the wonderful radiating presence he exuded.
His eyes had a beautiful sparkle, and he displayed a sense of humor as well as strength. At the time of the show he was in his late twenties, had a successful professional career, and was just newly married.
Outside of work, Bill's mission was to help emotionally troubled and disabled youths to have a more positive outlook on life.

How To Rid Yourself of Anxiety and Panic Through Self-Help
|
Nishanth Reddy
Understanding the emotions can help you to learn to control the emotions without allowing the devastating feelings and emotions take control. To throw away all these anxieties and worries one must follow a proper system and diet. Here are some points that will help you reduce anxiety and panic situations.
In our lives, we all want peace and happiness. We hope for a happy and pleasant environment around us all the time. However, to have all this we must be living in an ultimate world. However, we all know that our world is not ideal and tensions, panicky situations and anxieties arise every now and then.

The Language of Your Body
|
by Charlie Badenhop
Do you sometimes find yourself stuck in unproductive conversations that leave you feeling somewhat helpless? I am sure this happens to all of us at times. Have a look at this story to understand a new way to approach such conversations.
A client who I will call "Jim" shows up wanting to discuss his "utter failure" in his new job as a marketing manager. As he talks, I note that his shoulders are rounded forward, his trunk is tilted somewhat backwards, he rocks ever so much from side to side, and he talks rather quickly while breathing in a shallow manner. All these components of his physical behavior, make up a non-verbal communication pattern that we call "the language of the body".

7 Surefire Ways to Make Sure You Stay Broke
|
by Randy Gage
1) Take All the Free Cheese in the Mousetrap
Believe everything should come for free. Don't give the money back if the salesclerk gives you an extra $5 by mistake, find a way to wire your house for cable without paying for it, and help yourself to an extra newspaper when no one is looking. Always look for something for nothing and be happy when you get away with stealing the cheese.
