This is a very easy form and effective form of meditation. We all walk but while we walk our minds tend to get carried away with the thoughts of where we are coming from and where we are going.
When walking make sure that your body is upright, place one hand on your abdomen and the other on top of it.
Walk slowly and deliberately and experience the sensation of each foot touching the ground.
Ask yourself how does the ground feel, how does your foot feel.
Pay attention to every step and how it feels physically. As you develop this practice you can apply this to your normal speed of walking.
Practice this for 15 - 30 minutes daily or 2 or 3 times a week.
This meditation can be practiced at home, in the garden, on the street, actually anywhere.
